Jenny has lived in this area all of her life. She was born in Mark and attended the local schools. She started her working life at 18, owning a shop selling bread and cakes in Bridgwater. She undertook a director position at B W Seals and Mouldings alongside her husband.
She was the first lady chairman for Wedmore Harvest Home in the 1980’s, together with the committee Jenny was pivotal in securing the events future.
Following her husbands death she started a new venture, bought a farm and ran it successfully alongside a B&B business for 11 years.
Now in Mudgley Jenny wants to contribute more to local life. She is hopeful that by being part of the Parish Council she can help to maintain the local area and amenities.
