I am a graduate of the University of Sheffield and spent my entire working life in secondary education reaching the position of Principal prior to undertaking a consultancy role.
Having worked in education in the Midlands for 35 years I relocated to Wedmore with my wife to enjoy country life as well as to be nearer to family living in Bristol.
I volunteered to join the Parish Council for reasons which are quite straightforward. I like to meet new people, I wanted to become immersed in village life and aspire to work to both promote as well as to protect a parish which is situated in a beautiful part of the country.
I have a wide range of interests include travel, gardening, reading and music. I enjoy watching most live sport including occasional attendance to Bristol Bears games. For my sins, I am a season ticket holder for Aston Villa FC!
