As a Parish Councillor, I am dedicated to serving my community and making decisions that will positively impact our local area. With a deep-rooted connection to Wedmore for 25 years, I bring a strong sense of commitment and understanding.
In my professional life, I hold the position of Financial Director in our family Market Research and Property Business. With offices in Belfast, Cardiff, and Wedmore, I am entrusted with overseeing all financial activities, from managing accounts to finalising all annual company and tax returns.
I served in the Territorial Army for 14 years, retiring as a Major. Throughout my military career, I had the privilege of commanding at various levels, training Officer Cadets, and actively participating in fundraising committees.
Family is important to me, and I am the proud mother of two sons, aged 27 and 25. They have attended local schools such as Wedmore First School, Hugh Sexey’s, and Kings of Wessex Academy, allowing me to gain insight into the educational system and the needs of our younger generation.
In addition to my professional and military background, I have actively contributed to our community by raising funds for local schools, charities, and other organizations. It is my belief that supporting these initiatives helps create a stronger, more vibrant community.
