Parish Council Meeting – 19th February 2025
Here’s a summary of the latest Parish Council meeting held on Wednesday 19th February 2025.
We welcomed some fantastic contributions from members of the public, including exciting ideas to celebrate King Alfred’s connection to Wedmore, ongoing concerns about the upkeep of Cross Farm, and feedback on the proposed pavement works at Pilcorn Street.
The Council also formally co-opted Prof. Lyndon Smith as our newest councillor – we’re very pleased to have him on board!
Other key topics included updates on local highways, plans to apply for funding to support flood prevention work on the Panborough Drain, and news that our Emergency Plan is now available online.
For those keeping an eye on future projects, discussions around the Village Hall Clock, the skatepark, and public toilets will continue over the coming months.
