Draft Minutes – Annual Meeting of Wedmore Parish Council
The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council took place on Wednesday 21st May 2025 at the Council Rooms. It was a full evening of important decisions and forward planning for the year ahead!
We’re pleased to confirm Cllr Jacky Farley has been re-elected as Chair, with Cllr Isobel Beacom as Vice-Chair. Two new councillors, Valda Lewis and Andrew Scott, were also co-opted—welcome aboard!
The Council reviewed and adopted its Standing Orders, Financial Regulations, policies, and committee memberships for 2025/26. We also approved this year’s Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) following a successful internal audit.
Councillors discussed ongoing projects, shared updates from key community partners, and set the groundwork for the year ahead.
