Established in 1876, Wedmore First School Academy is located in an exceptionally beautiful and unspoiled Somerset village, surrounded by orchards and farmland, and alongside the local playing fields and tennis courts. We play an integral role in the life of Wedmore village, which enjoys a particularly strong and vibrant sense of community. Our staff and pupils participate in numerous local events and regularly attend services at St. Mary’s Church. Although not affliliated to a particular religious body, religious education at the school is Christian-based and non-denominational.
