Julia has been part of Wedmore for 30 years, since the age of 15. She has a daughter, Olivia, aged 11 and together with her husband, Robert, they farm beef suckler cows at Mill Farm, you may well have seen their pink tractors around the village (having had them painted in support of Cancer Research – a cause close to both Julia and Robert). As well as the beef cows, she also runs a successful livery yard and is the keeper of the Wedmore Community Solar Panels (after being approached by the Green Group).
Julia has been at Old Mill for 25 years and is a shareholding Director day to day she works as a rural Financial Planner, based out of the Wells Office, She is a Chartered Tax Advisor, Trust and Estates Practitioner and has a Fellowship with the Personal Finance Society.
Julia is excited to ‘get involved’ and give something back to the village. She has taken a keen interest in the footpaths as they have many on their own fields.
